Day 2 (March 7/8)

You did great on your first day of our communist system.

We took a quiz, listened to our HW committee's lesson, and reviewed Russia's notes.

We then took notes on our "Day 2 Notes: Eastern Europe, Fall of the USSR and The Balkan Conflict." We looked at this powerpoint to answer questions 1-4 on our notes (we skipped 5 and 6 and answered question 7 as a class--look up the definition in your textbook).  We will finish reading and answering questions on The Balkan Conflict next class (this isn't due yet).

Homework:
1. Read pages 338-341 and be prepared for a quiz.
2. Do your homework from the HW Committee (will be collected next class)
3. Work on Current Event/Theme Project (due March 13/14) and Book Review/Foreign Films (due March 15/16).
