Welcome to all who are new to Geography this semester. I'm so glad to have you in my class. This semester you will need to work hard; however, if you put in the work you will learn a lot and have a great time while doing it.
Plan to start every class with a Journal Entry and Current Event except the days that we have quizzes at the start of class. Here is our Current Event and Journal Entry from today:
Journal Entry: Do you think the only way to to understand the world and other cultures is through travel? Why or why not.
Current Event: Do you think it is important to follow the news every day? Why or why not. (We will usually be watching a video clip in class and then summarizing it for our Current Event. Today you will just answer this question in the Current Event box.)
We reviewed the Disclosure Document and handed out the Parent Permission Form.
Homework:
-Complete the Parent Permission Form (due next class)
