Today in class we practiced memorizing Central America and the Caribbean.  Please be studying your Latin American Maps (countries, cities, physical features) because your test is Feb. 20th!

We discussed Latin America's history and took notes on our LA Physical Geography and History Notes using the Physical Geography and History PPT.

We also watched some of the movie Guns, Germs and Steel.  If you were absent, you will need to come in at lunch or after school to make up watching the video (only about 15 minutes).

*Important Announcement:
-The last day to take the 1st unit test if you missed it is Feb. 15 (Friday!)
-Test corrections are due by the next unit's test (March 1st)

Homework:
-Current Event due next class!  (Friday, Feb. 15th)
-Be memorizing your Latin American maps!
