Journal Entry: What was your favorite thing you learned during the Latin America Unit?

We reviewed Part 1 of our Latin America Test and then practiced memorizing some of the Europe and Russia Map (test on March 8th!).

We started learning about how Russia Became Communist (click that link for the notes) using the Russia Becomes Communist PPT.

At the end of the class period, we set up "communist committees" where we are going to do an experiment to see if communism can work in a class room.  Each of you have an assignment to complete either on Monday, March 4th or on Wednesday March 6th.  Please come to class ready to complete your assignment.

Announcements:
-The last day to make up your Latin America Test if you missed it is Monday, March 4th at lunch or after school. 
-Please be prepared for March 5th's test day (Plan/Explore/ACT).  No regular classes. 


Homework:
-Complete the Life under Stalin's Communism Reading and answer the questions on the homework.
