Journal Entry: What was the Berlin Conference and how did it influence the history of Africa?

We discussed our notes from last time on European Colonization/Decolonization and the Berlin Conference and then learned about the United Nations and Rwanda by going over the United Nations and Africa PPT.  We filled in the United Nations and Africa Notes as well.

We watched 26 minutes of Hotel Rwanda.  If you missed class, you will need to come in at lunch or after school to see this segment of Hotel Rwanda.

Important Announcement:
-The last day to make up the Middle East Test will be this Thursday, April 18th.  Come see me at lunch or after school to make this up!

Homework:
-Complete the Overview of African Conflicts Reading HW
-Find your book for you book report project!  (due April 22nd)
