Today we began class with our 1st quiz. We then discussed the 5 Themes of Geography while filling out the handout "Introduction to Geography" (the first page of our packet). After our discussion, we split into different groups and worked on the "5 Themes of Geography Assignment."
***Homework for tonight (Day 2) tonight was modified from the Unit Plan. You will need to:
-Do both sides of the "Map Skills Handout" (white paper, 3rd page of packet)
-Do the first column of "Tools of a Geographer" (blue paper, last page of packet)
If you were absent today, you can review the 5 Themes of Geography powerpoint and fill out the "Introduction to Geography" notes as you go through the power point. All handouts/assignments/powerpoints that you missed can be found under "Intro Unit." Please come see me in class next time for how to get caught up on the rest.
