Day 8 (February 6/7)

We started class with a quiz on pgs. 75-81.

Announcement from class:
-If you are absent any day of the Unit, then you will still take the test on test day (Feb. 8/9)
**This means that if you were absent for the class period before the test, then you will still be expected to take the test on test day.  Come to me with any questions.
-All Unit 1 quizzes/journal entries need to be made up before the Unit 1 Test (Feb. 8/9)
-All reading guided notes must be turned in by the Unit 1 test.  You can turn these notes in as late for a minor point deduction.
-If you must miss the test on test day (for an excused absence),  then you must let me know BEFORE CLASS.  This way I can be merciful.  Please e-mail me, call me, or text me with your reason BEFORE CLASS on Feb. 8/9

We went through a lot of business today as we prepare to end the unit.  We handed out the following forms:

Foreign Films Assignment
Assignment Sheet
Test Review

We then discussed culture by going the Culture Discussion Notes.
(If you were absent for today's lesson, print off the culture notes and use your book and a friend from class to help complete out the chart).

Homework:
1. Iraqi Youth Article and Questions (The article is on the green paper handed out in class and the questions are on the back of your class culture notes)
2. Assemble all assignments and staple yellow Assignment Sheet on top.
3. Finish Island Project (due on test day)
4. Study for the test.
